The sound of the ambulance siren broke the silence of the night and filled the minds of the townspeople with an unknown panic instead of sleep. After the weekly Jumma prayers of religious shrines and mosques, prayers are being offered for the country and the entire human race. Patient pressure in hospitals has been steadily rising since last week after Eid. Talking to this reporter at Comilla Sadar Hospital, one of the family members of the victim said that his uncle, a school teacher named Mizanur Rahman (65) had a fever for the last three days. He had to go to the hospital for treatment. Because whenever they inform the doctor on duty of the private hospital about the difficulty of breathing of the patient, the hospital authorities inform that there are no empty beds in the hospital. The same problem they complained against Moon Hospital and Comilla General (Pvt) Hospital in the city. The victim Khorshed Alam Bhuiyan further said, “First we admitted my uncle to Comilla General Private Hospital. Later when we asked for oxygen for the patient, we were informed at night that there was no oxygen in the hospital.” In fact, the corona tries to get the patient out of the hospital on various pretexts whenever he thinks he is a patient. Later in the night, they contacted various hospitals and could not admit their patients to any hospital. He was finally admitted to Comilla Sadar Hospital. It can be seen on the ground that there is a lot of pressure to admit patients in Sadar Hospital. At least 110 patients are currently being treated in the 100-bed hospital. The wards are full of patients, the ground floor of the hospital, the second floor is full of patients in each ward. If the present situation continues like this, that is, if the situation does not improve, the future will make his history.
